Chamber Music in NYC with Margalit Cantor

Cellist Margalit Cantor regularly performs orchestral and chamber music concerts throughout New York, including as principal cellist with: the Dicapo Opera Theater, the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, and Big Apple Baroque. Margalit is on the faculty of Bloomingdale School of Music and the Lucy Moses School.

She will perform with the Dorian Baroque Trio on January 15, 2015, at The Gems Midtown Concert Series, in an early baroque program (Pandolfi, Castello, Marini, Fontana). These free concerts take place on Thursdays at 1:15 p.m., at The Chapel at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 325 Park Avenue at East 51st Street, New York.

 

"Operalia" Competition for Joshua Guerro

Two years ago, tenor Joshua Guerrero was accepted into Los Angeles Opera’s Young Artist Program. In August 2014 he won second place, and the CulturArte prize, in the International Competition of Placido Domingo’s Operalia.

Since then Joshua has secured management with the CAMI Agency, and will be in Barcelona in January 2015, competing in the Francisco Vinas International Singing Competition.
