The International Festival Society (IFS), founded in 1987, is a California nonprofit corporation dedicated to supporting and encouraging the career pursuits of gifted musicians and composers at international workshops and classical music festivals, and the participation of American artists on the world stage. The Society occasionally makes grants of between $1,000 and $3,000 to assist promising artists with their expenses in studying, performing, or teaching in international venues.
